The Fox is a special, small, full featured and low noise amp
designed for studio. It comes stock with either:

* Two separately voiced inputs. Choose from; Mesender, Splexi, the new (2006) Lowatt (brill and/or normal), or the Matchmore Chief (brill and/or normal) voicings.

* Both a High and Low Gain input followed by the Metalhead preamp.
(please see options page for complete description and a list of other preamp options).

Stock versions include one full Fab tone stack (Gain, Bass, Mid, Sweep, Treble, Top and Master), Stand-by switch for longer tube life, Solid State power supply with built in Fab Sag Circuit, DC heaters on the preamp, Impedance selector switch(your choice, 4/8 or 8/16)), and a Power Cut switch (Pentode/Triode). Combos come with an extension speaker output and a 10" Weber Signature Series speaker. All models also include your choice of one free extra option. Choose from Headphone out(2channel mono), Slave out(guitar amp level), Line out(Mixer level), or a Poweramp input. Output options are derived after the power stage in order to retain both power tube and preamp tone.

All models are designed to operate safely without a speaker. Output safety feature engages automatically when speaker is not connected on heads or is engaged with a speaker cut switch on combo models. Possible extra options are available for a small fee on the options page.

Output options are all single ended true class A. Choose either 6V6/EL84 for 5 watts pentode/2 watts triode or 6L6 for 8 watts pentode/3.5 watts triode.
